- IRAQ: Baghdad residents are furious at the government’s failure to provide security, they chased Prime Minister al-Abadi from visiting the bomb site with rocks & shoes. The ‘unified plan’ is to help coordinate the army, federal & local police & government-sanctioned Shiite militias who all provide security in Baghdad, manning checkpoints & responding to situations… see the problem here?

- ISRAEL: Live bullets in response to stones – yet another hurdle on the way to a peace-negotiating table. It’s riddled with pain, unfairness & stubbornness.

- THAILAND: The new constitution drafted by the current military government is viewed by many as undemocratic, but critics are prohibited from campaigning against the proposal by laws that could imprison them for up to 10 years!
